5 Facts on How Women Orgasm

Women’s orgasms have been shrouded in myths for too long. Too many people have too may things to say  on women and how we orgasm, and usually these assumptions sometimes completely miss the mark. Instead of feeding you hearsay and maybes, I decided to list 5 facts I’ve found to be true about MY orgasms that I think you will find relatable.

1. It takes a while…

Many women take longer to climax than their male partners, and that’s perfectly normal. In fact, most women require at least 20 minutes of sexual activity to climax. I find that the best way to bring it on faster is by mixing up a lot; that is, using hands and mouth on 2 -3 hot-spots on a woman’s body all at once.

This usually sends sensations all over our body and brings us closer to climax than merely focusing on one part.

2. It can happen without genital stimulation…

There are women who can orgasm while sitting on a train or while getting a massage or while using a treadmill. I find that I can orgasm to dirty talk whispered in my ear and special attention paid to my breasts.

The reason for spontaneous orgasms during certain activities is twofold—increased blood flow to the genitals and vibration of or contact with the clitoris, according to experts

3. How a woman sees herself can affect her orgasms…

Research shows that how a woman feels about her body is linked to the quality of her orgasms. To start with, every vagina looks different and there is no ‘perfect’ way for a vagina to look. Same thing applies to breast, butt and so on. As long as a vagina is pain-free, has no abnormal discharge, sores or other medical problems, you can consider it healthy and normal.

To get the best response out of a woman’s body, she needs to feel desired and wanted. The best aphrodisiac is “desire”.

4. It gets better with age.

Sure, there are plenty of reasons to dread growing old, but trust me your sex life may actually improve—especially your orgasms and how your body will respond to familiar things. I for one like to think that i’m having best sex life in my late twenties. This is partly because women become more sexually experienced, more confident and more demanding in the bedroom and therefore enjoy themselves more. Also, the trust and intimacy that most women experience in long-term relationships like marriage can help them discover the things that get them to orgasm faster.

5. Condoms do not affect orgasm!

In case you’re wondering if a condom has anything to do with the quality of your orgasm, don’t. With a lot of lubrication, chances are you will forget the condom completely. In fact, the sense of safety that you will both feel from having protected sex is actually a plus.

Also, condoms may help some men maintain erection and like we have learnt, it does take a while for most women to orgasm. Everybody wins.
