Dear Mahogany,

I am a mom of 4 adorable kids. I love my kids so much and nothing would ever change that. They are my greatest blessings and achievements.

Pregnancy and motherhood however, has taken a toll on my body.

I’m 65 pounds heavier than I was before having my kids. I don’t feel sexy anymore and this has affected my marriage. I can’t even undress in front of my husband and we always turn off the lights when having sex.

My confidence is gone. I was a size 6 before and looked smoking hot in a bikini. The stretch marks on my thighs and belly due to pregnancy makes it even hard for me to look at myself in the mirror.

I want to feel sexy again. I want the old me back. I want to enjoy sex and be adventurous with my husband like old times.

Five days ago, I signed up at the gym and started a diet so I can shed some weight. It’s been so difficult and I wonder if I can ever get my old body back. Am I the only one who feels this way?

People complain about how much weight I’ve gained and carelessly give all kinds of advice. This is so annoying because being a mom is not as easy as people make it seem. How do these celebrities bounce back to pre baby weight after having kids?

I need your help and counseling.
